Austin is a full-stack strategic hub, central to how Wise supports operations and solves customer needs across the Americas. The expansion adds two new floors to the innovative office space in Domain Tower II, expanding Wise’s footprint by 200% to 90,000 sq. ft. and bringing teams together under one roof. The office expansion features collaborative areas, event spaces and touchdown spaces - all intentionally designed to spark creative interaction and real-time innovation. The design also reflects the local character of Austin, integrating architectural features that celebrate the city’s spirit. Adding a personal touch, artwork created by the children of Wise employees will be displayed throughout the space, bringing creativity and community into the everyday work environment.
The expansion is part of a wider global wave of investment in Wise’s workplaces. In the last 6 months, Wise has opened newer, larger offices in London, Tallinn, Singapore as well as establishing a new full-stack hub in Hyderabad. Together these offices reflect the scale of the talent needed to support Wise’s growth and mission of building ‘the’ network for the world’s money. The company now has more than 6,500 employees across 11 key locations, processing $185 billion in cross-border payments for 15.6 million customers last financial year alone.
Isabel Naidoo, Chief People Officer at Wise, said: “Our investment in our Austin office is another step in creating irresistible workplaces where Wisers choose to come, collaborate, and thrive. By removing barriers and designing spaces that support the way we work, we enable our teams everywhere to solve customer problems faster, deliver their best work and adapt to shifts in technology. This approach reflects our broader commitment to ensuring every office supports both our people and our customers.”
With the Austin expansion, Wise continues to scale its global footprint as it strengthens its role as the leading company powering cross-border payments. By creating environments where employees can collaborate and innovate, Wise strengthens both its culture and its ability to serve customers better.
